June 26 marks World Refrigeration Day, an event that reminds us of how essential cooling and heating technologies are to the well-being of modern society. The 2025 theme, Cool Skills, puts people and their skills at the center, the real driving force behind these technologies' functionality, evolution and ability to meet major global challenges.

These systems do not run on their own. Their safe, efficient and sustainable operation relies on technicians, designers, maintenance personnel, engineers, operators, trainers and innovators. Real people, with highly specialized and constantly evolving expertise, who make a difference every single day.
