New version V1.26 of FSS3 Frascold Selection Software

The new version 1.26 of Frascold Selection Software (FSS3) is available. 

 

Below the new features of this update. 

 

v1.26.0

RECIPROCATING COMPRESSORS

  • Added compressors with an extended operating envelope for the R1234ze, R515B, R600a refrigerants.
  • R404A refrigerant range extension (condensation up to 60°C).
  • Added performance for piston Single Stage series compressors with R23 refrigerant.
  • Added the ability to simulate an Internal Heat Exchanger (IHE) downstream of the evaporator for Single Stage series compressors with R23 refrigerant.
  • Updated drawings for the Subcritical CO2 Series.
  • Updated drawings for the Transcritical CO2 Heavy Duty series (for sizes D, Q and S).
  • In the CO2 Calculator Software, added new settings (in the Options > Settings menu) for the Selection Calculation mode. 

 

SCREW COMPRESSORS

  • New series of NEXUS compressors with refrigerants R600, R600a, R601a, R1233zd (from 316 to 912 m3/h @50 Hz).
  • New series of Aluminium-L compressors with R717 refrigerant (from 315 to 470 m3/h @50 Hz).
  • R454C application envelope range extension for FVR compressor series - LT (FVRL).
  • Improved performance calculation algorithm with economiser. 

 

GLOBAL

  • Documentation links update (accessible from the INFO > Documentation tab).
  • Software overall performance improvement.
