CX Water series

The CX Water Series features compact screw compressors engineered for low compression ratio applications and fits a wide variety of applications. These units were developed by Frascold based on a careful design and testing phase utilizing the most sophisticated technologies available in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The CX Water Series features excellent fluid dynamics and truly raises the bar in standards for safety, reliability, and quiet operation.

The capacity control of all the compressors in the series is obtained through the hydraulic movement of the slide valve, which helps to provide excellent operating efficiency under any load. These can also operate in tandem with an economizer and external inverter to provide even greater flexibility, efficiency, and overall energy savings for your system.

A Frascold-original 3-stage oil separation system ensures the absolute minimum oil carryover back towards the system providing a consistent, optimal level of lubrication and protection for vital components.

Low oil carryover

Frascold developed an advanced 3-stage oil separation system to provide increased protection and lubrication to all the compressor’s moving parts. This helps minimize the potential for leaks and ensures these compressors perform better and last longer.

Highly Efficient Operation

No matter what design requirements (COP/EER) or seasonal requirements (ESEER/IPLV) are present, these units are all about efficient operation. Maximum efficiency is achieved thanks to the optimized fluid dynamics developed from Frascold’s significant investments in our design and manufacturing technologies.

Option of Coupling with an Inverter

The external Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) present on the CX Water Series provides a significant increase in overall efficiency even under partial loads for all the CX Water compact screw compressors.

Quiet & Low Vibration

One of the first things you’ll notice with a Frascold semi-hermetic screw compressor is the next-level noise reduction present on the units. Low vibration is achieved simultaneously thanks to the cutting-edge design of the rotors and the internal fluid dynamics within the compressors.

Easy To Install & Maintain

The connections and control elements are laid out on just one side of the compressor to provide both ease of installation and to simplify your team’s maintenance tasks over time.
