FVR SERIES - LT - ATEX

The refrigeration market continues to evolve with ever-increasing demands for technological innovation. The Frascold R&D team spent countless hours designing and testing these units to produce the innovative FVR low-temperature ATEX-certified semi-hermetic screw compressors. With advanced construction and safety features, these compressors are able to be safely used with both hydrocarbons and in areas classified as at-risk of explosion (Zone 2).

This FVR series also features Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)-compatibility for even greater flexibility and efficiency built-in. With a lower starting current compared to alternative compressors, the FVR low temp ATEX series is also able to put less stress on the internal components of each unit, helping to improve performance and extend useful life.

With an innovative design, these compressors offer a true plug-and-play solution. A simplified install is only enhanced with even easier maintenance operations due to brilliant design features like our new piping discharge line, the positioning of the oil injection port, as well as the displacement of the endplate on one side of the unit. These all serve to provide quick and easy access to the wiring to make maintenance a breeze.
