Magnetic compressors SERIES

Every compact screw compressor model within the Magnetic series features the exclusive IPM motor, which is a synchronous motor that incorporates an electric rotor embedded with magnets. The IPM motor provides superior levels of energy efficiency along with more accurate speed control, while also eliminating any sliding effect. Integrating this innovative technology delivers a decrease in power consumption, contributes to larger energy savings, and increases cooling capacity.

The compressors in the Magnetic Series have an integrated 2-level Vi control system to maintain higher performance levels and greater adaptation to a wide range of operating conditions. The Vi control system is able to alter the geometry of the compressor’s discharge port by means of an adjustment module located in the electrical box and comes pre-wired to the pressure transducers and to the control valve.

The Frascold Magnetic Series offers the greatest freedom in the design and configuration of the system and also in the choice of an inverter. The inverter allows speeds to be reached between 1,000 and 5,400 rpm, provides a wide range of operation (20-100% continuous), and produces a soft start every time.

Every possible configuration of a compact screw compressor from the Magnetic Series was engineered to provide greater efficiency in seasonal conditions (SEER/SEPR/SCOP) all thanks to excellent fluid dynamics and to the very latest design and manufacturing technologies we incorporate.
